We provide a free 15-minute consultation as our initial meeting to determine compatibility between you and the therapist.
This call serves as an opportunity for the therapist to understand your reasons for seeking therapy, asking questions such as why you're seeking therapy now, whether you've tried therapy before, and what you hope to achieve through therapy.
You're encouraged to ask any questions you may have, and together, we'll assess if we're the right fit for your needs and goals.
Following your consultation, if you choose to embark on your mental health journey with us, schedule your initial session.
Prior to the session, we'll provide a consent intake form and policy agreement for you to complete and sign at least 24 hours in advance.
You have the option to book sessions directly with your therapist or utilize our online booking system. Once scheduled, you'll receive an email containing a link to your 50-minute virtual session conducted through video conferencing.
In the initial sessions, we will concentrate on assessment, gathering information, and setting therapy goals. This allows you to determine if we are a suitable match. Sessions are mainly semi-structured, goal-oriented, and centered around treatment. Your therapist is adaptable and will customize sessions to match your pace and specific objectives.
You can conveniently schedule sessions through our online booking system or directly contact your therapist to check availability.
Sessions are conducted via video conferencing on JaneApp, a leading online platform. To access services at Rena Psychotherapy, you are required to register and create a profile on the JaneApp.
Please be mindful of your privacy needs as you choose your location. Sessions will not be conducted if a client is driving or distracted; it is unsafe, and the client cannot focus on the session.
